The Main focuses of The Awareness Party:

  1. Walking our talk: living our beliefs, including the seven principles of The Awareness Party, to guide us – ultimately bringing altruism, ethics and self responsibility into a new system of self governance as the foundations of government, and the way we live.
  1. Protecting our environment: in line with our belief in the Gaia principle. This includes speaking out about mining practices; tipping chemicals from helicopters and other inappropriate ways of treating the earth; and working to keep New Zealand GE and nuclear free.
  2. Caring for all life and acknowledging human dignity. This includes highlighting the gap between the rich and poor, and the failing economic system; exposing fluoride and ‘supposedly safe’ toxic chemicals in our food; and protecting the complimentary health system and people’s choice in healthcare. We promote education and non violent language in creating solutions.
  3. Working towards democracy. This includes calling for information about such legislation as the TPPA which is evolving behind government’s closed doors; it includes the right to know what is in our food. We highlight the need for the public to wake up to what is happening in the world and then participate in the process. We emphasise the need for a neutral media, untarnished by controlling financial interests, to assist in this process..CONTACT US HERE
